As of January 2026 we will be hosting a time outside our home each Sunday from 9:30am–10am for prayer and hot chocolate. This will be rain or shine, and we will have a tent up if it is rainy.
Hot Chocolate?
It's cold outside as I write this, so why not hot chocolate? It will likely become lemonade in the warmer months. It's just a token of hospitality.
Why?
Everywhere Jesus and his followers went, they proclaimed and demonstrated that the Kingdom of God is here.
This meant proclaiming "the good news," that God made a way for all people to be free from death, and can live in a loving relationship with him starting now and forever when we see him for who he says he is.
This also meant demonstrating God's love and power through miracles like healing, deliverance, and more. It is God's will for all to be whole, which has been made known through scripture and testimonies that happens to this day.
How?
Freely we have been given, so freely we give what we have received. It is not by our human-might that we see others healed. It is that the Holy Spirit was sent to live in us and empower us to do God's will, which is to see all people made whole and partner in sharing his love with all people. God already told us to do it, he has already paved the way for it to happen, we are just partnering with him in administering his love.
